finished movement


since the last update (available here for reference) I've pretty completely updated the movement, making Piglatin Scarfguy much faster and giving him a significantly improved wall jump, a dash, and fast falling. There are also sound effects, squash and stretch (which made the game feel WAY better, holy shit), a basic enemy and checkpoint, a few particles, yeah. In preparation for a new chunk-loading system that's gonna be added for level loading in the future, I had to remove the world environment node and replace it which made the game look significantly worse, but i'll try to fix that in the future. I would also like to eventually add back that grass overhang, but it was having scaling issues and stuff and looked all jank so it had to get canned for the time being. There's also now a dynamic camera which also added a shit ton of juice to the game, so that's pretty cool. Also coins and a real sign model, both of which were made in KenneyShape, which is a super cool tool that more people should know about.

I think that's pretty much everything I've added and changed since the last release, but there's gonna be more so don't change the channel! I've loved working on this thing literally every day and I don't feel like stopping soon (famous last words, sure, but I actually really like working on this project), so expect another update at most a few weeks from now.
